It's OK (free poster)

Maybe you need to know or have a little reminder. It's OK. You're OK. Everything doesn't have to be perfect all the time. You don't have to be perfect! IT'S OKAY TO HAVE A BAD DAY Sometimes things don't go your way. Sometimes, for one reason or another, your mood is less than good. It happens to all of us to have a bad day. The important thing to remember is that it's only temporary. NOT KNOWING EVERYTHING We learn all our lives, you know! TO MAKE MISTAKES Everything in this world was built after a mistake in my perception. The important thing is to learn from your mistakes and find the tools to avoid repeating them. NOT BEING COMFORTABLE Whether it's shyness or just something you don't want to do, you have the right to feel uncomfortable. TO CHOOSE WHAT IS BEST FOR YOU You are important! And it is important that you assert and choose what is best for you. TO BE YOU You are unique! Learn to know yourself: your personality, your qualities, your flaws, your strengths, your weaknesses, all of this defines you. CALL FOR TESTIMONIES I'm taking advantage of this first poster to briefly mention that I'm looking for testimonies to put here on the blog. Testimonies of difference, of intimidation, of courage, of resilience. Our mission is vast! It can be a text written by you or I ask you some questions and write the text in the form of an "interview". The testimony can be anonymous. Write to me at stickeepals@gmail.com Here is the first small poster offered. Click HERE! To be informed when a new poster is opened as well as our news and promotions, follow Stickeepals on social networks or subscribe to the newsletter! :)

Why inclusive stickers?

by Marie-Josee Beaulac on Apr 11, 2024
The concept for Stickeepals came to us in early 2022, during a meeting where we were discussing the best-selling themed toys in stores, such as dinosaurs, unicorns, space, princesses and knights. The central point of the discussion: everything was pink or blue, gendered. Looking closer, we also found that most companies used a generic face to represent all children, with their ethnicity being distinguished only by skin color. Eyes, faces, noses, ears, bodies: everything else was the same. It wasn't reality. We are so different! After some research online, we discovered that less than 20% of diversity (ethnic, gender, physical and mental disabilities, body differences, etc.) was represented in everyday life. So we decided to use our strengths to launch a unique product in the field we were already used to working in: the children's industry. Since stickers are found in most homes, are inexpensive, fun and educational, we thought they would be perfect for our mission: to include, represent and normalize the uniqueness of each individual. Because being different is AWESOME! So here we are, presenting our very first collection of inclusive stickers, hoping that you will join the movement and change the world one sticker at a time 🌈⭐️💙
